Monographic Central Europe Challenges and Opportunities for Mexico
Keywords:
Poland, MexicoAbstract
The countries' ability to adapt to different circumstances will have as one of its axes the identification of geographic spaces that, due to their dynamism and the success of their transformations, can be an engine of economic recovery.
In the case of Mexico, the international positioning anchors are clear, but they must also be reviewed from another perspective. The Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (known as T-MEC) was a timely and fortunate option whose benefits have already been perceived at critical moments derived from the coronavirus pandemic. The Trans-Pacific Partnership Progressive Integration Treaty (TIPAT or CPTPP) and the so-called modernization of the global agreement between Mexico and the European Union define two regions in Asia and Europe where, if well used, enormous future options for Mexico will converge.
